Players injured and unable to participate in DC/PC
We understand that injuries and periods of recovery are part of a young athlete’s journey, and the most important priority is always a full and proper recovery. While we are pleased to invite players back into the AC assessment process, we would strongly encourage parents and players to only take part when they are physically ready to do so. Returning too early can increase the risk of further injury and can also affect confidence and enjoyment, which are just as important as physical readiness.
The Hampshire Player Pathway will always keep the door open for players to return at the next appropriate opportunity once they are fully fit. Taking the time to recover properly plays a key role in managing not just the physical, but also the
mental side of recovery, helping players come back with confidence and clarity. We ask that parents and guardians keep us informed of progress, so we can support each player in the best way possible and ensure they re-enter the pathway at the right time for them.
Register for the AC Assessments
If your child is working towards a return, we ask that you complete the form below to register interest for the upcoming AC Assessments, which will take place in September/October this year. Once confirmed, dates will be published here:

Registering now ensures we have your details on record. Once our admin process is complete, we will send out a formal invitation to the assessments in due course.
