Hampshire’s U17 Boys and Girls are on fire at the National County Championships! The boys lead the Championship Pool and the girls are battling it out in the semis. Behind the scenes? Coaches in laundrettes and plenty of team spirit.

Hampshire U17 Boys and Girls are heading to Nottingham for the return of the National County Championships. With top talent, a fantastic venue, and three days of competition ahead, it’s set to be an exciting showcase of county hockey pride.

Whistles were blown, arms were raised, and confidence soared as 31 young umpires stepped up to officiate at the DC Match Days. With brilliant guidance from South Central Officiating, these young leaders showed exactly why investing in umpire development matters.

Over 30 young umpires gathered at Trojans HC for an evening of learning, whistle-blowing and confidence building. With theory covered and match days fast approaching, these future officials are ready to step up – and they’ll need plenty of encouragement along the way!
